My computer has problems with this image. Lol.

And I don't think you can let other people use a "traced" image of another persons work.

Isn't this a *vector* work (e.g. Inkscape, Illustrator, Photoshop paths)? It doesn't appear to be a "render" that is made using a 3D program (e.g. 3DS Max, Maya, Blender).

This looks pretty neat at a small size, but the large version shows a lot of the shading shapes don't quite line up with their contours. I find it helps to just copy the body part you want to shade, and cut shading into a lightened form on top. Much easier than trying to make new curves that exactly match existing ones.

The mixture of lines that end in sharp points with boxy-ended strokes also makes the linework uneven. It looks better when the strokes are converted to shapes and tapered off.

You do have a lot of beautiful colors in the right places. I should probably start watching Sword Art Online myself.

Well... Looking from that perspective, you can't really call C4Ds to those things used on Photoshop to give depth and movement since that C4D is the program where those are made

It's a different type of render, the one used to make wallpapers and signatures.

I still think the term is widely misused, but why argue about it?

I dunno, I always thought of it as 3D related stuff till i started making signatures and what-not, but then I used Adobe After Effects, and there was no 3d nor masking involved, albeit there can be, but it still "rendered" it. Tis' a weird term.

Yeah, I think it's okay in that sense too.
